Day 1: Arrive in Delhi

Welcome to India! Your journey starts in Delhi. Settle in and then head out for a sightseeing tour of the main attractions in Old Delhi: the Qutub Minar, Lodhi Gardens, and Jama Masjid.

Day 2: Delhi Sightseeing

Take a full-day tour of Delhi today through the city's monuments. Stops will include the Lotus Temple, National Museum, Janpath, Rajghat, and more.

Day 3: Agra & The Taj Mahal

Leave the capital city behind and move to the city of Agra. Agra is best known for being the home of the magnificent Taj Mahal, which you can visit at sunrise or sunset—or both, or in-between. Don't just stick to the Taj, though; the Sikandra and Agra forts are also well worth a visit.

Day 4: Agra to Jaipur

Continue to Jaipur, the gateway to the desert state of Rajasthan. After you arrive, your guide will take you on a tour of the city's landmarks, including its palaces and bazaars. You'll end at the Amer Fort, where you'll have dinner and enjoy a sound and light show.

Day 5: Forts & Palaces of Jaipur

On your second day in Jaipur, head up to the hilltop forts to take in the views of the city. Then relax with a boat ride on the Man Sagar lake and neighboring Jal Mahal.

Day 6: Jaipur to Shekhawati

Drive to the beautiful Shekhawati region, one of Rajasthan's best-kept secrets. You'll stop in the towns of Mandawa, Fatehpur and Nawalgarh to visit the decorated havelis, traditional elaborate mansions. Take in the intricate frescoes as you get a glimpse of what life is like in Rajasthan.

Day 7: Shekhawati to Bikaner

Keep going on the road to the desert town of Bikaner, where you'll stop for a break between Shekhawati and Jaisalmer to experience life in rural Rajasthan. Visit the Junagarh Fort, the rat temple of Karni Mata Mandir, and a camel-breeding farm.

Day 8: Bikaner to Jaisalmer

A medieval town perched like a sandcastle in the midst of the Thar desert, Jaisalmer is also known as the Golden City. Spend your afternoon on the winding streets of the old town, taking in the brightly painted doors, crumbling havelis, and handicraft shops.

Day 9: Jaisalmer Fort

Start your morning with a visit to Bada Bagh, a memorial to the city's rulers, and a drive past Gadisar Lake. Then spend your afternoon exploring the Jaisalmer Fort, a living fort with a palace, temples, and small shops amid yellow stone architecture and golden desert sand that make it seem straight out of a fairy tale.

Day 10: Jaisalmer to the Thar Desert

Head to a traditional village in the Thar desert, where you will experience rural desert life and culture as you spend the night amidst the sweeping sand dunes.

Day 11: Thar Desert to Jodhpur

Continue on to Jodhpur, the Blue City, home to more forts, palaces, temples and havelis, all connected by bright blue lanes filled with spices, handicrafts, and tie-dye fabrics. You'll visit the beautiful Umaid Bhawan and clifftop Mehrangarh Fort, taking in the views over the rooftops.

Day 12: Jodhpur to Udaipur

Start off with a morning village safari to visit rural homes and watch for local wildlife like blackbucks, also known as Indian antelope, before you get on the road to Udaipur. While you drive toward the city, you'll stop in the craft villages at Luni and Bishnoi as well as the Jain temple in Ranakpur.

Day 13: Explore Udaipur

Sitting in the heart of the Aravali hills, Udaipur, the city of lakes, is one of Rajasthan's most romantic cities. Take a boat ride on Lake Pichola with views of the floating marble palace and the white city in the background. You'll also pay a visit to the Jag Mandir, Jag Niwas, and Saheliyon ki Bari before watching sunset from Sajjan Garh monsoon palace.

Day 14: Return to Delhi & Depart

Return to Delhi.
